QC Amp Base 280
With the QC Amp Base 280, you can transform your Quad Cortex into a compact, lightweight, and complete portable guitar amplifier setup.
The integrated amplifier power is comparable to a 200+W tube amplifier head, allowing you to harness the incredible sound possibilities of the Quad Cortex anywhere in the world, whether on stage with your band or in the studio.
All you need is a guitar cabinet to experience the interaction between sound, guitar, and your fingertips, just as it's difficult to achieve with other solutions like in-ear monitors or monitor sound.

The Quad Cortex is easily and quickly attached to the Amp Base. Due to the low profile of the Amp Base, operating the Quad Cortex remains comfortable, and the slight incline makes it even more suitable for live performances.
The Amp Base sits directly beneath the Quad Cortex, requiring no additional space on the pedalboard or stage floor.
With the Amp Base, you already have a complete live setup, and it's about to get even better!
Optionally, the Amp Base comes with an internal 12V/3A power supply that provides voltage to your Quad Cortex through a very short cable.
The advantage: less cable clutter, and you only need one power outlet for the power cable, which simultaneously powers the Amp Base and the Quad Cortex.
The original power adapter of the Quad Cortex can stay at home.

I’m very pleased !
I’ve now had a bit of time to play around with the QC using the amp base straight into a 12 inch Marshall cabinet.
The amp base sound is very transparent and works incredibly well with the QC.
I turn off the noise gate and remove any IR in my patch and I get a clean, power amp with lots of headroom, easily enough to play above a drummer.
Your connection to the QC and general design is excellent.
The light weight and ease of use is great and I’m very pleased.
Well built and really design
I am very satisfied, it sounds loud and clear.
I was a bit worried about the heat, but i had the QC on for 2-3 hours straight, and it did not get hot at all.
The built in powersupply for extra pedals is genius, it will allow me to use my wireless unit and plasma pedal without extra cables.
I would highly recommend anyone with a QC to buy the ampbase.
