Die perfekte Lautsprecherbox für Deinen Kemper Profiling Amplifier / AXE-FX / Line6 oder andere Modeler / Profiler !

Mit unserem Camper Plus KIT kannst Du Dir Deine eigene high end FRFR + GFR (full range flat response + guitar flat response) Box selbst bauen.

 hier.

Quality FRFR for a reasonable price

Since I have a woodworking shop and build guitars (and sometimes guitar speaker cabinets), I built my own cabinet for the camper plus kit. I followed the design of the Palmer cabinet for the most part, but made it a bit less wide. I AB'd with an Atomic active CLR wedge, which is pretty highly regarded for the Kemper, and some guitar speakers with the cab off. There were noticeable differences among all of them. The camper plus kit sounded really good. For many profiles, I liked it better than the Atomic. It sounded warmer and a little more full and alive. (I was using the FRFR input for the comparison and the camplifier studio to power the camper plus kit.) Using higher gain profiles at higher volumes, the Atomic kept the low end together better. Even though these are both FRFR speakers, when AB'd, some frequencies are more pronounced in one versus the other. They both sounded good, but the camper plus kit seems to enhance the lower frequencies, it is warmer and rounder then the Atomic CLR. The Atomic has a higher frequency edge which we often hear as greater clarity. Obviously, pickups, profiles, pedals and other influences may be pushing the tone in one of these directions to begin with. So with some starting points the Atomic may seem a little sterile or harsh, or the camper plus kit a little muddy. Both can be dialed in to sound really good. I was surprised that there is as much difference between two FRFR speakers. Hard to say which is a "truer" reproduction. I did find that if a played through a guitar speaker with the cab off and then went to the FRFR's (with the cab on), the camper plus kit was closer to the guitar speaker. What's nice is that the FRFRs have much better dispersion, so the camper plus kit provides that benefit while sounding more like playing through a guitar speaker cabinet. These findings are likely influenced by my particular cabinet design and materials.

For my purposes and ear, the camper plus kit was a delight to play through. The finished product is also significantly lighter than the Atomic. None of my comparisons are intended as a put down of the Atomic CLR, which I think deserves its good reputation as an FRFR speaker. Over time it will be interesting to see which of the two FRFR speakers I end up using more. All and all, I am glad I purchased the Camper Plus Kit and Studio Camplifier.

The camper plus kit yields a quality FRFR for a reasonable price. It is also well suited to people like me who can build the cabinet themselves or install it in the Palmer. I like the idea of the product a lot and am very pleased with the performance. I give it it 4.5 stars.

Very very good solution for Kemper playback

Finished two, hooked up to a Camplifier 360 (which actually is 2x180 Watts: stereo-a-go-go!) Great to replicate your profiles in a very convincing way. Looks even better with some nickel hardware, tilt-back-legs and Fenderish silver grill cloth.

Highly recommended

I just completed two Camper 112 Plus cabinets. And they sound absolutely amazing with the fullness, clarity and authority I was hoping for. With the Kemper they sound every bit as good as my Fender Deluxe Reverbs old-school all-tube combos. Everything about this product is top notch; from the packaging to the instructions, and the result is visually and sonically extremely pleasing! It took me less than two hours to build both cabs. I highly recommend this solution to all the modelling/profiling amp owners out there.
